John Carter is the owner and Managing director of Cliffsea Cars, having been in the motor trade since 1966 and having always enjoyed motoring, especially in sports cars John is as enthusiastic day today about Morgan Cars as he was when he first drove his own Morgan in the early 1970's.

Cliffsea Cars is based in Southend on Sea, which is on the East coast of England about 40 miles outside London.

John  took over the Morgan Franchise in 1975 from his family friend having had a personal interest in Sports cars for many years. John ran the company from his then showroom on the London Road, Leigh on Sea, moving the business to Bridge Garage in Shoeburyness in 1981. John later relocated the Morgan dealership in 1991 to its present day showroom situated in Sutton Road, Southend.
